Treburgett rests quietly in the Cornish landscape, a place where the gentle sweep of the land suggests a long, undisturbed habitation. It lies 6.7 km south-west of Camelford (from Camelford: bearing 227°T, OS grid SX 054 794), and is situated south-south-west of St Teath village. The air here often carries the scent of damp earth and distant hedgerows, a clean, green perfume that rises from the fields. Farms, some ancient in their layout, dot the surrounding countryside, their stone barns weathered by a thousand Cornish rains.
