Umukuri is a locality in the Tasman Region of New Zealand. It sits at an elevation of around 31 m above sea level. It lies approximately 33 km north-northwest of Richmond, the regional capital. Umukuri is located at 41.0833°S, 172.9667°E. It observes New Zealand Time (NZST/NZDT).

Umukuri rests in a gentle depression, its landscape a thoughtful blend of rolling farmland and pockets of native bush that soften the edges of the land. It lies 33.8 km north-west of Nelson (from Nelson: bearing 308°T), and is situated 7.0 km north-west of Motueka.
