Tui is a locality in the Tasman Region of New Zealand. It sits at an elevation of around 359 m above sea level. It lies approximately 44 km west-southwest of Richmond, the regional capital. Tui is located at 41.5333°S, 172.7333°E. It observes New Zealand Time (NZST/NZDT).

Tui rests in a broad valley, cradled by the softly rounded shoulders of the Pinchback Range. It lies 48.1 km west-south-west of Stoke (from Stoke: bearing 240°T), and is situated 43.6 km west-south-west of Richmond. The land here rolls with a quiet, persistent grace, a mosaic of verdant pastures and the darker, more mysterious hush of native bush. Sunlight, when it breaks through the often-brooding Tasman skies, paints the undulating hills in hues of ochre and emerald, the air carrying the clean, earthy scent of damp soil and growing things.
