Parapara is a locality in the Tasman Region of New Zealand. It sits at an elevation of around 12 m above sea level. It lies approximately 79 km north-northwest of Richmond, the regional capital. Parapara is located at 40.7245°S, 172.6913°E. It observes New Zealand Time (NZST/NZDT).
