Korere is a locality in the Tasman Region of New Zealand. It sits at an elevation of around 265 m above sea level. It lies approximately 39 km south-west of Richmond, the regional capital. Korere is located at 41.5333°S, 172.8000°E. It observes New Zealand Time (NZST/NZDT).

Korere rests in a wide, sun-drenched valley, cradled by the gentle slopes of the Pinchback Range to the east. It lies 43.4 km south-west of Stoke (from Stoke: bearing 236°T), and is situated 25.6 km south-west of Wakefield.
