Omoana is a locality in the Taranaki Region of New Zealand. It sits at an elevation of around 234 m above sea level. It lies approximately 58 km south-east of New Plymouth, the regional capital. Omoana is located at 39.4167°S, 174.5833°E. It observes New Zealand Time (NZST/NZDT).

Omoana rests in a broad, fertile valley, its fields a patchwork quilt of deep greens and ochres under the wide Taranaki sky. It lies 58.0 km south-east of New Plymouth (from New Plymouth: bearing 132°T), and is situated 27.2 km east-south-east of Stratford. Rolling hills, softened by eons of rain and wind, rise gently on all sides, their slopes a mosaic of pasture and pockets of native bush.
