Hazletts is a locality in the Southland Region of New Zealand. It sits at an elevation of around 18 m above sea level. It lies approximately 25 km north-west of Invercargill, the regional capital. Hazletts is located at 46.2667°S, 168.0833°E. It observes New Zealand Time (NZST/NZDT).

Hazletts rests in a landscape of subtle undulation, where the rich, dark soil of Southland’s farmland rolls and dips towards the distant, shimmering horizon. It lies 25.3 km north-west of Invercargill (from Invercargill: bearing 306°T), and is situated 10.6 km north-north-east of Riverton.
