Paranui is a locality in the Northland Region of New Zealand. It sits at an elevation of around 78 m above sea level. It lies approximately 107 km north-west of Whangarei, the regional capital. Paranui is located at 35.0667°S, 173.4667°E. It observes New Zealand Time (NZST/NZDT).

Paranui unfolds across a landscape of gentle, sun-drenched hills, their slopes a tapestry of emerald pasture and the darker, more rugged green of native bush. It lies 107.3 km north-west of Whangarei (from Whangarei: bearing 313°T), and is situated 7.9 km south of Taipa.
