Oakleigh is a locality in the Northland Region of New Zealand. It sits at an elevation of around 4 m above sea level. It lies approximately 11 km south of Whangarei, the regional capital. Oakleigh is located at 35.8333°S, 174.3167°E. It observes New Zealand Time (NZST/NZDT).

Oakleigh lies cradled by rolling hills, a patchwork of verdant pasture and native bush that slopes gently towards the distant shimmer of Whangarei Harbour. It lies 11.3 km south of Whangarei (from Whangarei: bearing 183°T), and is situated 8.7 km south-south-west of Onerahi.
