Toatoa is a locality in the Bay of Plenty Region of New Zealand. It sits at an elevation of around 612 m above sea level. It lies approximately 49 km east-southeast of Whakatane, the regional capital. Toatoa is located at 38.1333°S, 177.5000°E. It observes New Zealand Time (NZST/NZDT).
