Te Puna rests in a gentle cradle of rolling farmland, its contours softened by the warm, sub-tropical air that drifts inland from the coast. It lies 8.4 km west of Tauranga (from Tauranga: bearing 263°T), and is situated 3.2 km west of Bethlehem.
