Omanawa is a locality in the Bay of Plenty Region of New Zealand. It sits at an elevation of around 45 m above sea level. It lies approximately 81 km west-northwest of Whakatane, the regional capital. Omanawa is located at 37.8000°S, 176.0833°E. It observes New Zealand Time (NZST/NZDT).

It lies 14.6 km south-south-west of Tauranga (from Tauranga: bearing 210°T), and is situated 11.9 km south of Bethlehem.
