Okiore is a locality in the Bay of Plenty Region of New Zealand. It sits at an elevation of around 262 m above sea level. It lies approximately 36 km south-east of Whakatane, the regional capital. Okiore is located at 38.1833°S, 177.2833°E. It observes New Zealand Time (NZST/NZDT).

Okiore lies in a valley cradled by low, rounded hills, their slopes a patchwork of verdant pasture and the darker, richer green of native bush. It lies 81.7 km north-west of Gisborne (from Gisborne: bearing 310°T), and is situated 19.4 km south of Opotiki.
